O revelar da memória: as ações sociais e culturais do Movimento Circulista em Pelotas/RS

Abstract

This dissertation deals with the Pelotense Workers' Circle founded in 1932. The main objective of this research is to verify, through the process of rememorization, how the social and cultural activities contributed to the realization of the circulism. For this analysis, is used as reference the Pelotense Workers' Circle, for being the pioneer in circulist motion. Recording time was defined as the 1930 s and 1940 s. The study is the collection of primary sources, mostly the work of unpublished research. And this work is oriented from the theoretical concepts of memory, Jacques Le Goff, Michael Pollak and Paul Ricoeur, and its relation to social context
